Bouchercon 2017: Passport to Murder

“We hope you have your passports at the ready (if not check out our border crossing page for tips) to join us at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto, Canada for Bouchercon 2017, where we’ll be celebrating all things mystery.
With less than 3 months to go, our volunteer team is busy planning events starting with pre-convention tours on October 11 and running through to the Anthony Awards on Sunday, October 15!
Most panel invitations are out there now. We’ve been doing that in waves. Now we have a few special events that we’ll be inviting participation in, and events like Speed Dating, The New Authors’ Event, 20 on 20 sessions to organize. No end of opportunities for readers and writers to mix and mingle with each other!
Beyond panels, we do have some exciting events that have already been announced (and there are more to come):
On Wednesday, October 11th:
- Haunted/Ghost walks (nearly sold out…)
- a day trip to Niagara Falls/wine country
- Toronto Reference Library tour of the Conan Doyle collection (SOLD OUT)
- SinC National writers’ workshop
- Noir at the Bar
On Friday, October 13:
- Bouchercon is co-sponsoring a Nero Wolfe Banquet with the Wolfe Pack (a ticketed event).
- the Crime Writers of Canada will be hosting a Pub Quiz night open to all (no need to reserve in advance)!
On Saturday, October 14:
